How to Make Chords Sound Clear

If you are playing your guitar and the chords sound like they are not clear, there are several things you can do to make them sound better.

1. Start by playing each string separately so that you can figure out which specific notes are not clear.
2. Move closer to the fret, but make sure you are not directly on top of the fret. (You should be moving towards your strumming hand, not towards the peghead of the guitar.)
3. Press down harder with your finger.
4. Make sure that fingers that aren't supposed to be touching strings are not in the way.
